Tangibangara Church Project

Purpose

To upgrade/renovate the church building and it’s electric power system.

Description

To install an off-grid solar powered system for the Church’s electrical power needs, also to install new ceiling fans, paint and trim details and replacing the Church’s plastic seats and installing new curtains.

Personnel Required

We will need an experienced builder and an electrician (with solar power installation experience if possible).

Church/Community hall & Visitors lodge

Meals

Yes meals will be provided. Bring personal dietary ingredients if required. There are a couple of small canteen type shops in the village that may sell essential or basic food items.

Transport

Transportation is arranged.

Vaccination

Yes, tropical diseases ones like Malaria, Tetanus, Measles and Hepatitis A & B. Typhoid and influenza vaccinations are also recommended.

Cost

Approximately $2,500 AUD per person for return trip airfares, boat return trips and accomodation.
