A wonderful opportunity to adopt this UPCOMING project. Building hope on the shores of Salamaua Beach, PNG….a new 6m x 9m Church where faith meets community in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Constructing a new Church building: 6m by 9m without a slab and using traditional building methods.

Accommodation

Camping or traditional housing. Further planning required. If a suitable boat was available this may be a possibility. There are “holiday houses” nearby. It is a beautiful, idyllic coastal location and there are World War 2 relics nearby.

Meals

Locally produced food from markets are to be considered as there are no shops in Salamaua Beach.

Transport

Return trip to Lae is needed to get to Salamaua Beach. Followed by There are no roads or airstrips at Salamaua Beach. The boat trip is about 38km from Lae.  Any non traditional construction materials would need surveyed/specified and inventorised and purchased to be transported by boat from Lae in a timely manner so that construction is not delayed or held up.

Medication for malaria. Typhoid and Tuberculosis
